What's particularly encouraging is the early arrival of some scattered mahi-mahi. While not yet in their peak summer numbers, we've been finding these colorful fighters around floating debris and weed lines approximately 15-20 miles offshore. Most fish are in the 10-15 pound range, though a few gaffers over 20 pounds have surprised anglers targeting kings.
Water temperatures have been holding steady around 74-76°F, and the clean blue water has been pushing in closer to shore with the recent easterly winds. Current patterns suggest we're on the verge of our traditional late spring pelagic run.
Now is the perfect time to experience the excellent offshore action with Cocoa Beach Sportfishing. Our experienced team specializes in putting clients on quality fish, with vessels fully equipped with top-of-the-line tackle and electronics.
Tight lines,
