August has been a very productive month for kingfish! We have continued to limit out on most of our Cocoa Beach and Port Canaveral offshore fishing charters. While moving to a new fishing spot we can spot schools of dolphin (mahi-mahi) along the way. We look for birds diving on bait or fish busting on the surface of the water as an indicator.

Bottom fishing has produced a handful of different species. Vermillion Snapper, American Red Snapper, Trigger Fish, and Grey Grouper have been on the hit list.
We managed to get out to the deep and caught a few Tile Fish. This type of fishing is very rewarding when fishing at 650ft! Great eating as well!
